1. Overview
PatternClues provides market intelligence, research, decision-support tools, newsletters, and related website functionality. This policy describes the information users may provide through those features and the ways that information may be handled.
2. Information You Provide
Depending on the feature you use, you may voluntarily provide:
- Contact submissions: your name, email address, topic, and message.
- Newsletter signup information: information submitted through the embedded Beehiiv newsletter form.
- Signal Engine content: text you submit for analysis, which may include a pasted article, report, or other source text.
- Playbook selections: selections submitted to Playbooks, such as market, objective, capital range, and time horizon.
The information required by a feature is identified by that feature. You can choose not to submit optional information, although a feature may not work without information needed to provide its requested result.
3. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to:
- respond to inquiries and messages;
- deliver newsletter communications you request;
- operate requested website tools and return their results; and
- maintain, secure, and improve the services where applicable.
4. Service Providers
Certain website functions rely on third-party service providers. PatternClues uses Formspree for contact-form processing and Beehiiv for newsletter signup and delivery.
Information submitted through these services may be processed by those providers according to their own terms and privacy practices. This policy does not make assumptions about their storage locations, retention periods, cookie behavior, subprocessors, or international-transfer practices.
5. PatternClues APIs and Submitted Content
Text or selections submitted to PatternClues tools are sent to PatternClues-operated API endpoints for processing required to provide the requested result. The available website implementation does not establish a fixed retention period or describe the complete backend logging practices for those endpoints.
Please submit only content that you have the right to submit and avoid including information that is not necessary for the requested tool.
6. Cookies and Analytics
PatternClues does not currently implement its own analytics or advertising tracking code in the public Astro frontend. Embedded or third-party services may use cookies or other technologies according to their own policies. This statement is not a guarantee that no third-party technology operates when those services are used.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
PatternClues may link to external websites, research sources, and services. Those websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. PatternClues is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of external sites or providers that it does not control.
8. LinkedIn, X, and External Account Integrations
PatternClues may support authorized integrations with LinkedIn, X, or other external platforms in the future or where explicitly enabled. Any such integration would be subject to the applicable authorization flow, platform terms, and additional notice where appropriate.
9. Data Retention
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, operational requirements, dispute resolution, security, or applicable obligations, subject to the practices of relevant service providers. No fixed retention period is stated here.
10. Security
Reasonable measures may be used to help protect information appropriate to the nature of the service and the information involved. No method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your Choices
You may choose not to submit optional information. You may also contact PatternClues with privacy questions or requests at contact@patternclues.com. Requests will be considered in light of the information available and applicable obligations.
12. Children
PatternClues is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.
13. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the website after an update means that you have had an opportunity to review the revised policy.
